                                  AUTOMATIC DOOR!

When we walk into airports or malls the doors which apparently look closed at a distance, open automatically as we near the door. We read of one such door which opened by itself in the Book of Acts chapter 12: 1 to 19. It describes the miraculous escape of Peter from the prison. As we all know the prison gates are made of iron and they are made tightly secure with heavy locks. These gates cannot be opened on their own, but when Peter was arrested and put behind bars, the angel of the Lord guided him out of his cell and as they reached the Iron Gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself and they went through it. (Acts 12:10)

Exodus chapter 14 describes how the Israelites crossed the red sea. The Israelites were terrified to see the Egyptians on one side and the Red sea on the other.  Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on (Exodus 14:15).When you face such situations don’t panic, as you move on you will see God’s miracles.

Dearly beloved as you believe in Jesus Christ, these miracles will be yours today. The Lord whom we trust is the same unchanging God! The doors which look closed to your physical eyes will sure open as you draw near in faith. They might appear closed but in reality they will open automatically as you move on. Be blessed!!

IF YOU FOLLOW ME………

“Come follow Me” JESUS said “and I will make you fishers of men”. Mark 1:17. This was the calling given to the first disciples, as Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee.  Peter, Andrew, James and John as we read in Mark chapter 1 were basically fishermen and Jesus calls them out to fish for people. We read that at once they left their nets and followed Him. We need to practice this implicit obedience to the call of Jesus in our lives. To abide in the divine calling we need to “follow Him” throughout our life. In order to follow Him we need to recognize His presence and His voice!

The Lord has told us that His sheep would hear His voice; hence we cannot excuse ourselves of not hearing Him. We need to hear Him and more vital is obeying Him!!

Dear friend, in John chapter 21 we read the disciples had toiled all night and caught no fishes. When Jesus appeared to them in the early morning He called out to them and said “throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. (John 21:6)

You may have labored much, toiled a lot yet in a state of emptiness and despair. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look intently on Him and without reasoning or questioning just “follow Him” and you will see a wonderful harvest more than you can expect or imagine! May the Lord bless you abundantly!

                      REJOICE, AGAIN I SAY REJOICE!!

The Psalmist David says in Psalm 42:5,” Why are you downcast, o my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your HOPE in God, for I will yet praise Him my Savior and my God.” You may be going through tough situations in your life. You might be caught up in dire straits. Don’t give up, light up the hope and trust in God. For your Savior will surely come and save you!!

We read in Mathew 14:30 and 31, when he (Peter) saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately JESUS reached out His hand and caught him. He is never late, our Savior is always on time .When the days are dark and gloomy, remind yourself that “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah8:10).  Therefore give praise and rejoice in God for your deliverance will come and will not delay.

The darkest hour is before the sunrise, the most intense pain is before the baby is born, Cheer yourself in the promise of God, “There is surely a future for you and your HOPE will not be cut off” Proverbs 23:18, So I want to remind you once again Philippians 4:4 “REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, AND AGAIN I SAY REJOICE.”

He will command His Angels……

Dearly beloved do you realize the Lord of heaven and earth commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways as promised in Psalms 91:11.  As you begin this New Year be encouraged for the Lord deploys “guardian angels” in all you do.

In Mathew 28:2 we read “for an angel of the Lord God came down from heaven….. rolled back the Stone….”. Believe that the immovable obstacles in your path will also be rolled back for the LORD will command His angels to do so.

In Daniel 6:21 it is written “My God sent His angel and shut the mouth of the lions”. His angels not only open the closed doors, as we read in the life of Daniel the angel was sent to shut the hungry lions mouth, to our mind and knowledge it is impossible but to our God it is easy, simple and truly possible to shut the plans and wicked schemes of the enemy in your life.

Trust JESUS for such miracles in your life! In Revelation 3:7 God reveals Himself as the 0ne: Who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one shall open. As you face challenging situations in your life, encourage yourself in the promised word of God “for He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways”. God bless you!
