STAR AND
ANGELS GAVE THE SIGN!!
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, there
appeared a “star” in the east. The
wise men followed this guiding star which led them to the place where the child
was born. In Mathew 2:10, we read “when
they saw the star, they were overjoyed” for they found the One they were seeking for. The
Angels announced the good tidings and peace to all men as they praised giving
glory to God in the highest.
Jesus
the only begotten Son of God was born to save the people from their sins. His
birthday, we celebrate as Christmas day!! This same Lord Jesus has promised to
come back again, not as a Savior but as a Judge of the whole world. In Mathew 24:30 we read about the end times and the coming of the
Lord. It says “At that time the sign of the Son
of Man will appear in the sky……..”
Sign in the sky will be seen in the sun, in the moon,
in the Stars and the heavenly bodies. At His coming the Angels will blow the
trumpet to gather His elect. As we celebrate the birth of JESUS, let us
remember the sign of the Star and the Angels remind us of not only of His birth
but also of His second coming! Let us anticipate and be prepared for His
coming! Revelation 10:6 says “Time will no longer
delay”.
